And a partridge in a pear tree…
Students at Riverside School are placed in a math class according to their grade and achievement levels. Math is taught using a structured, sequential and multi-sensory approach based on the Orton-Gillingham Approach for teaching language skills.
This year Mr. Keevil’s Algebra and PreAlgebra class did some research into the current cost of the gifts of the twelve days of Christmas. As you will see, the cost of a partridge and a pear tree has gone up over the years. This year, for the first time, it will cost more than $100,000 to purchase everything on the list!
