A message from the Alumni Committee Chairman

Dear Riverside School Alumni,
Welcome to the Riverside Alumni Page, an information site for all alumni of Riverside School. Because you attended Riverside, you are a valuable member of the Riverside School Alumni Association (RSAA).

Riverside holds a unique and special place in the hearts of many of its alumni because of its impact on our lives. We came to Riverside seeking a helping hand academically. We left Riverside after a few years, ready to face the challenges of education with more confidence because we received the help we needed. This is the reason that so many alums return to visit with Mrs. D, other alums and staff members. We realize with appreciation that our lives are for the better because of the teaching we received at Riverside.

The RSAA offers several rewarding ways for you to stay involved with Riverside, including attending a fall reunion picnic, membership on the Alumni Committee, participating in phonathons to stay in touch with other alums, applying for the Patricia W. DeOrio Alumni Scholarship* and helping with Riverside School fund raising efforts. You may have other ideas or feedback, which we certainly welcome.

Please consider applying for the scholarship next spring if you will be planning to study at any post-high school educational facility, whether vocational school, undergraduate college or graduate school. The criteria for choosing a winner are: personal achievement, contributions to the community and need. Contact the Development Office for an application.

The Scholarship is the fund raising focus for alumni. What better way to support Riverside than through helping a fellow alum! Please consider contributing and keep this worthwhile scholarship alive!
